Hello there!
As you may know already from my recent post, I'm trying to switch to vegetarianism! Which means more adventures in trying to find something nutritious to eat. I have come across a gold mine for protein. Beans! I decided to experiment with beans and make a healthy, yet delicious snack! Here is a picture of my tasty vegetarian snack:Ingredients
-Baby Spinach
-Baked Beans
-Saltine Crackers!
It's such a simple snack to make. All you do is heat the beans up in a pan (or if you are feeling especially lazy like me, use the microwave) and put them on a cracker! I added spinach because it's a wonderful source of iron and it helps the baked beans not stick to the roof of your mouth! If your not a fan of spinach, add a small piece of lettuce instead.
I enjoyed making this snack, time to get my apron on and create more tasty treats!
