Birthday Resolutions

Thursday, April 10, 2014

Hey guys! I can't believe it's already April 10th. My birthday is on April 13th, 3 days away! Well, it's more like 2 because it's almost the 11th. Nevertheless, my birthday is rapidly approaching. I'm extremely excited, because (drum roll please) I'm turning 21! It's crazy to think that I'm turning another year, I still feel like I just graduated High School. In reality it's been 3 years since I threw my hat in the air. To me, birthdays feel like New Years Eve, full of hope and new beginnings. Sounds a tad silly but I like to make Birthday Resolutions. By my 22nd birthday, I hope to achieve 5 resolutions. And I wanted to share them with you! That way I can go back and look at them, and (hopefully) feel accomplished. Do you guys make Birthday Resolutions? Or do you only make New Year Resolutions? Or maybe you don't do any! Either way I'd love to know!

Birthday Resolutions

Become Self Employed.
I'm not a fan of working for companies. I've always dreamed of working for myself. And I'm going to make it a reality this year!

Stop eating meat, forever.
I've been slowly trying to become a vegetarian. I'm taking it slow because last time I became a vegetarian, I got incredibly sick and had to start eating meat again. I'm doing it the healthy way this time, slowly but surely.

Take Control of My Chron's Disease.
Some of you may know of my disease from my previous post, but many of you probably don't. I have Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and it's incredibly painful. It's a disease that flares up your intestines and causes a lot of pain. It's not pretty nor is it fun. I want to finally control this disease and put it into remission.

Lose 20 Pounds the Healthy Way.
I'm not obsessed with weight or anything. This one is more about being healthy and feeling good about myself.

Finish the 1st Draft of my Novel.
I've been writing a story in my head for a long time. I want to put it down on paper so I can finally start the process of editing and publishing!

Those are my Birthday Resolutions. They are pretty big goals, but very possible. Time to get motivated. Thanks for reading!
