I wasn't lucky enough to ride one of these bad boys but my cousins were! They rented these for 35 dollars a day.
We stayed in Laihaina, so of course we had to visit the famous Banyan tree. I could see why it was famous, it was huge. And gorgeous.
Just me smiling for the camera. I found the flower on the ground and had to put it in my hair. I felt pretty Hawaiian after that move.
This is one of the many photos I took from my balcony at the hotel. Paradise!
On the third night I went down to the beach and took some photos of the sunset. I was so lucky when a sailboat decided to float by. This is my favorite Hawaii photo, I'm even going to print it and hang it up.
I snuck a photo of these natives at our luau. The flowers were so fresh and beautiful. It made the luau that much more magical.
I don't know if any of you heard about Hurricane Iselle, but I was there when it was first reported. Nothing major happened thank goodness, but there was a light storm the last few days of my trip. Everything closed down and we had to enjoy the beach from afar. Strange way to end a vacation, but I'll admit, it was a tad exciting.
I have many more photos to share, but that will have to wait until part two! Have you ever been to Hawaii? Let me know in the comments. Mahalo!
